Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens

A spontaneous visit to Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens with an all-day photo shoot. The place had a quiet charm of its own - fewer crowds than the larger zoos and enough light slipping through the enclosures to make for interesting photos. As always, the fences were a challenge (and sometimes a curse), but I concentrated on what I had: which was mainly timing and patience.

This album is mostly big cats - snow leopards, Amur leopards - plus a few other residents that caught my eye along the way. Some shots were quick bursts trying to capture a single glance, others were slower moments where the subject had stayed still long enough. It didn't all come out perfectly, but I'm still satisfied.
