Large-scale E-commerce Ecosystem

Symfony Redis MySQL AWS EC2 CloudFront REST SOAP

Part of a cross-functional team developing and maintaining a Symfony-based e-commerce platform serving over 300,000 monthly users across both B2C and B2B channels.

This core platform integrates with 40+ third-party systems, ranging from logistics providers to payment gateways, using a mix of REST and legacy SOAP APIs. It acts as the central hub connecting multiple internal tools and satellite services.

My contributions included:

  • Building and maintaining new features in Symfony
  • Debugging and improving performance of API integrations
  • Collaborating with QA and ops on release rollouts
  • Monitoring and tuning AWS EC2 instances, and assisting with asset hosting via S3 and CloudFront
  • Helping ensure stability and maintainability in a high-traffic, integration-heavy environment.
