Hi, I'm Peter!

I'm a software engineer by trade, a tinkerer by nature, a photographer by passion.

I started tinkering with computers at a very young age and quickly got pulled into the World Wide Web. That curiosity never really went away. It eventually turned into a career, and I still spend a lot of my time building things – both professionally and in my own space. This site is part of that: a place for projects, writing, and photography, alongside whatever ideas I feel like exploring. There are pieces here going all the way back to 2010. Some of them I’d write differently today, but that’s kind of the point.

The photo above probably gives it away, but my favorite way to disconnect is hitting the trails – though lately, you're just as likely to find me at a zoo photographing the animals. I run on a steady supply of good coffee, and I have a terrible habit of "fixing" things around the house that were working perfectly fine before I got involved.
